Beans: Cheap and Good

With everyone trying to be a little more health conscience and a little more healthy, I found this blog on beans and how to measure them, how to cook them, and the value of different kinds of beans. I thought it was very useful so I wanted to post the link. She talks about black beans, garbanzo beans, pinto beans, etc

Its a great way to add some heft to a meal without adding a meat. Black beans are seen a lot these days in burritos and other dishes to replace meat. Buying dried beans is cheaper and generally has less sodium than the canned variety, plus they can be easy to store in an air tight container and last a really long time.
